Blickle team celebrates topping out ceremony for new U.S. headquarters
Construction proceeding according to plan
Progress has certainly been made in the construction of Blickle’s new U.S. headquarters since the official ground breaking ceremony in Newnan, Georgia on a sunny day last June.
Around 19 hectares of the Coweta Industrial Park are being developed to create a sales and distribution centre operated by a 23 strong Blickle team, which is also set to expand. The administration building and warehouse covering a total area of approximately 5100 m² will be ready in March 2018 on completion of the first phase of the project.
Building work is currently on schedule. The steel beams were delivered and installed once the site had been cleared of trees. The steel structure of the administration building and warehouse are now almost complete.
To mark this milestone, the last beam to be installed was signed by branch manager Scott Chahalis, the Blickle staff and Coweta County Commissioner Bob Blackburn on 16 November. Everybody in the Blickle team is looking forward to moving into the new building next year.
